To stay safe and slow the spread of COVID-19 in Birmingham and Solihull, local people are being encouraged to keep their distance from others, wash their hands regularly for 20 seconds, do not meet in large gatherings and to wear a face covering.
Local people must also book a test immediately if they have any of the main symptoms of coronavirus. They are:
- A high temperature
- A new, continuous cough
- Loss or change in sense of smell or taste
If they have any of these symptoms, they can book a COVID-19 test by calling 119 or online at www.nhs.uk/coronavirus.
